Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various plumbing techniques and systems. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including commercial, and industrial plumbing installations and repairs. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts.
  • Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks for various plumbing components.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
  • Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working in various environments.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Provide maintenance services for existing plumbing systems as needed.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and practices.
  • Proficiency in welding and pipe threading.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting requirements.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Experience in carpentry or maintenance person tasks is beneficial.
  • Previous construction site experience is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on field service efficiency.
