Class A/B CDL Driver

Paragon Site Solutions is a licensed general contractor specializing in site development in North and South Carolina. We are looking for skilled and experienced CDL Dump Truck Drivers. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, asphalt and construction debris to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dump trucks to transport materials to designated locations.
  • Inspect trucks before and after each shift, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
  • Load and unload materials using appropriate techniques.
  • Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the truck as needed.
  • Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and truck maintenance.
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Adhere to all company and site safety protocols.

Experience & Qualification

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with appropriate endorsements.
  • Proven experience as a dump truck driver in a construction or site work environment.
  • Knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures.
  • Strong understanding of road safety and regulations.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on the vehicle.
  • Physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and climbing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work in varied weather conditions and extended hours when required.
