Weekend & Evening Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

Are you an animal lover looking to make supplemental income doing something you LOVE? We are looking for someone with evening and weekend availability to join our awesome team of dog walkers and pet sitters We are looking for someone who is available between the hours of 5-10pm Monday - Friday and between the hours of 7am-10pm on Saturdays and Sundays. This is an as-needed position.

*Please note - while this is the required availability, this does not mean you will be scheduled consistently during these hours. Our evening and weekend schedule depends solely on the needs of our clients. Some weeks you may have 2 hours of work, other weeks you may have 20 hours of work. You will receive your schedule 2 weeks in advance, with the opportunity to pick up last minute requests as desired. Welcome to Nashville Dog Walkers, where pets are family(and so are our people) Never heard of us? We are an established and growing pet care business located Nashville, TN. Our bones and bacon is providing daily exercise, play, and love for dogs from the comfort of their own home(they got it good, don't they?). We also provide pet sitting and overnight services for most types of domestic animals including dogs, cats, birds, and more.

We are in need of high quality, dog loving people to complete our team of walkers.

Here is WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM NDW:

THE BASICS

- Competitive pay for each job completed, including mileage and phone usage reimbursement in addition to tips from clients.

- The bulk of our business is done during "normal business hours" but we are in need of a crew of dedicated evening and weekend warriors looking to make extra money with after-hours / weekend pet sitting assignments.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (what you'll need to bring to the leash)

IT'S A PHYSICAL JOB, YOU MUST BE:

- Comfortable working with a large variety of dogs of different breeds, ages, weights, and energy levels. (We won't ever make you walk a dog you aren't comfortable with.)

- Able to pick up and carry 50lbs

- Able to bend, twist and bend over to pick up after pets. (most of us can't touch our toes if that helps at all)

- Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.

WE LOOK FOR PEOPLE WHO:

- LOVE and enjoy spending time with animals. We hope this doesn't come as a surprise

- LIVE IN OR WITHIN a 15 MINUTE DRIVE OF OUR SERVICE AREA (Nashville and close surrounding areas)

- Have an attentive nature. Must be able to be in tune with your surroundings.

- Understand the importance of good customer relations.

THE MUSTS:

- Must have a reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver's license.

- Must have a working smartphone and internet access. (required for our appointment management and GPS tracking app)

- Must have open availability for weekend appointments.

- Must be 18 years of age or older(required for insurance and bonding)
