Note: This position is remote, allowing you to work from your own space.

Streamline Buys is a vehicle acquisition company that partners with auto dealerships to source and acquire vehicles on their behalf. We are currently seeking an experienced Used Car Buyer to join our growing network as an independent 1099 contractor.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for buyers with an entrepreneurial spirit who are looking to grow their own portfolio of dealership clients—with the tools, support, and technology provided by Streamline Buys to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase used vehicles through online platforms such as Simulcast, OVE, and SmartAuction
  • Acquire inventory directly from private sellers, rental companies, and wholesale sources
  • Evaluate vehicles based on market demand, pricing trends, and dealership needs
  • Negotiate effectively to secure quality vehicles at competitive prices
  • Coordinate transportation and manage post-sale duties including arbitrations and concessions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships and industry partners

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a used car buyer or automotive remarketer
  • Proficient in online auction platforms (Simulcast, OVE, SmartAuction, etc.)
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with vehicle valuation tools and market data
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple dealership accounts
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for automotive sourcing and client service
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
