What Chefs Want is looking to hire a Night Selector.

Job Description:

The Night Shift Warehouse Team Member is responsible for enabling warehouse operations through slotting, rotating and picking activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Select product accurately and properly verify all product.
  • Report any discrepancies immediately to supervisor.
  • Responsible for loss, damage and inventory control.
  • Must be able to select product quickly, but with minimal damage.
  • Must be able to interact courteously and tactfully with managers and co-workers.
  • Must work in a safe and effective manner.
  • Timely & regular attendance is required.
  • Take accurate temperature readings and check for damaged product.
  • Report any equipment problems to supervisor.
  • Safely operate equipment and maintain cleanliness of coolers and dock.
  • Responsibilities also include the ability and willingness to perform all warehouse activities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must work Sunday thru Friday each week with Saturdays off.
  • Must be able to accurately select product and stack it neatly and correctly arrows up, labels out.
  • Knowledge to operate a pallet jack & forklift in a safe manner.
  • Must have ability to read, write, identify and verify numbers and pay close attention to detail.
  • Must be able to withstand repetitive bending, twisting, stooping and walking.
  • Must be able to meet need to perform strenuous pushing and pulling.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally.
