Our client, a well-established leader in the commercial furniture industry, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale, multi-site installations across the country. This individual will play a key role in managing complex projects from planning through completion, ensuring seamless coordination among internal teams, vendors, and clients.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in project management, particularly within the furniture, design, or construction sectors. They should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management is essential, along with the ability to interpret architectural drawings and integrate requirements for electrical and data systems.

The role involves regular interaction with trade professionals, contractors, and end users, requiring excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Travel within the assigned market will be frequent (approximately 40–50%), with some additional travel to out-of-market locations as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven success managing large or multi-location projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction and furniture plans
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exceptional customer service orientation

Preferred Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, design, or construction
  • Experience with a furniture dealership or manufacturer
  • CAPM or PMP certification
