We are looking for an Overnight Bakery Manager to lead our Back of House team We value a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and good communication. We offer good pay, good benefits, and a consistent schedule. This position is based in our production kitchen in Burien.

What we are looking for:

  • You will bake cookies for all of our locations four nights per week.
  • You will pack orders, mix dough, and complete other production tasks as needed.
  • You will ensure all cookies meet our company standards, and you will communicate with staff to ensure those standards are clear and are met.
  • You will work in tandem with our Bakery Admin who is in charge of organizing customer orders, ordering ingredients, etc.
  • You will oversee Back of House staff to ensure proper time management, ensure all tasks are completed to our company standards, and communicate in a productive, respectful manner.
  • Supervisory responsibilities will include hiring and firing all Back of House employees. You will also manage all Back of House schedules and you will be expected to cover and/or coordinate coverage is someone calls out.
  • Create a positive work environment and continue to train staff and broaden skillsets.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and train a team. Creating a positive and effective environment is your top priority.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work four overnight shifts per week
  • At least three years of pastry management or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in professional kitchens, preferably in elevated high-volume establishments
  • Organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Driver's license and clean driving record. This job requires occasionally delivering cookies to our cookie shops.

Benefits:

  • Pay is $24/hour + $3/hour tip minimum guarantee (this increases if tips are more)
  • Paid sick time
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days of employment. We pay 75% of Bronze medical premium.
  • Paid Time Off starts accruing after 90 days of employment. Accrue up to 80 hours of PTO per year.
  • 401k available after one year of employment. 3% employer contribution even if you contribute nothing.
