About This Position
The Vice Presidency for Countries and Regional Integration leads the Bank's engagement with borrowing member countries and advances regional integration across Latin America and the Caribbean.
To achieve this, VPC formulates country and regional strategies, oversees the public sector operational program, supports the development of the non-sovereign guaranteed program, and coordinates flagship regional programs. It also manages the Regional Public Goods Program and fosters regional integration knowledge.

- Support the implementation of CDIs by guiding country and sector teams on methodological application and prioritization of policy areas.

- Contribute to the generation and implementation of an application for the mapping of pipeline products that can support Country Strategies and more generally country level agendas.
- Help with the coordination of generation and implementation of knowledge agendas at the country level.
- Support the organization of key meetings and events, including the Annual Meeting of Country Economists, internal knowledge exchanges, and retreats and assist in drafting and reviewing technical documents and provide comments to ongoing workstreams.
- Help coordinate collaboration with VPS and other Bank Windows, ensuring that regional and corporate knowledge priorities are effectively integrated.
- Contribute to the work of the VPC Editorial Committee by identifying key themes and overseeing the administration of VPC blog content.
- Participate and contribute in selected research projects and contribute to the development of specific knowledge products.
