We are seeking a talented Android Developer to join our team working on mobile applications for Wells Fargo. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, enterprise environment, developing high-quality Android apps using modern technologies and frameworks.

Job requirements

    • Develop, maintain, and enhance robust Android mobile applications for Wells Fargo.

    • Contribute to the design and architecture of Android platforms and ensure best practices are followed.

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA, backend) to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

    • Publish and manage applications in Google Play and other app stores.

    • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical problem-solving.

    • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness meet enterprise standards.

    Qualifications:

    • 5-7 years of development experience, with a focus on mobile applications.

    • 4+ years of enterprise-level Android development experience.

    • 3+ years of Kotlin experience, including:

      • Reactive Programming (RxJava)

      • Constructs, Coroutines

      • Dependency Injection (Dagger)

      • Retrofit

      • Jetpack Architecture components

    • Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.

    • Demonstrated experience publishing apps in mobile app stores (Google Play, etc.).

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

    • Technical degree or equivalent experience.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Nice to Have:

    • FinTech or banking experience (preferred but not required).

    • A portfolio or links to example apps in the app store.

    • Strong understanding of native development best practices.
