Hiring: Remote CPA – Full-Time, Year-Round (No Weekends)

Senior CPA
with strong technical tax expertise and leadership ability to oversee complex client engagements involving tax preparation, advisory, and resolution. This is a
full-time, year-round position
with a professional and collaborative remote team.

Position:
Full-Time Year-Round Remote CPA

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST

Location:
Fully Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership returns (multi-state, S-corp, and nonprofit)
  • Oversee and mentor junior accountants and ensure accuracy across deliverables
  • Manage IRS and state tax resolution cases, including audits, penalty abatements, and installment agreements
  • Conduct tax planning and consulting for high-net-worth individuals and small business owners
  • Review financial statements and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local filing requirements
  • Communicate directly with clients and regulatory agencies in a professional, solution-oriented manner

Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Active CPA license (EA may be considered for exceptional candidates)
  • 5+ years of recent experience in public accounting, with a strong focus on business and individual tax preparation
  • Solid understanding of tax research, complex return structures, and multi-entity relationships
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and providing advisory-level guidance
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle a diverse workload in a remote environment
