Our mission is to simplify car repairs, enabling consumers to resolve issues like recalls without leaving home or work. Through our automated platform, we streamline the process from manufacturers to dealers to customers, significantly reducing notification times and making repair scheduling seamless. Dealers benefit from increased repair revenue and strengthened customer relationships, while OEMs avoid costly fines.

BizzyCar is a fast-paced, results-driven company with an experienced leadership team skilled in building high-value businesses. Employees enjoy competitive pay, equity opportunities, and medical benefits. While we're a dispersed team, we prioritize collaboration and meet quarterly to maintain our strong culture.
About the role

Manage the data processing and analytics pipelines, ensuring efficient data modeling, transformation, and orchestration using dbt and Amazon Redshift, optimizing performance and scalability of our data infrastructure.
Establish data quality and validation frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all analytics and reporting systems.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement among all engineering teams, encouraging knowledge sharing, professional development, and the adoption of best practices in data engineering and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and customer support, to align engineering activities with business objectives and customer needs.
Qualifications
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage engineering teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strong technical expertise in Python (for data analysis and automation), SQL (for querying and performance tuning), dbt (for data modeling and transformation), and Amazon Redshift (for data warehousing and analytics).
Deep understanding of data pipeline architecture, ETL processes, and software engineering principles for scalable and maintainable data solutions.
Excellent project management skills, including experience with agile methodologies, to ensure the timely delivery of projects with high quality.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving complex technical, operational, and organizational challenges in data-driven systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Experience
Experience integrating Python-based data workflows with business intelligence tools or APIs.
Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).
Understanding of cloud-based data architectures and scalable data ecosystems (AWS preferred).
- Experience working with version control and CI/CD for analytics (e.g., Git, dbt Cloud).
Benefits
