We're looking for a No Surprises Act Specialist, a sharp, driven individual ready to dive deep into one of the most impactful healthcare laws in modern history. The No Surprises Act, enacted in January 2022, protects patients and providers from unfair billing practices and opens the door for skilled professionals to challenge denials, negotiate with insurance carriers, and navigate federal arbitration (IDR) and state-level disputes.

At Elite Billing and Collections, we're not just another billing company, we're advocates, strategists, and problem-solvers. You'll work directly with our arbitration and compliance team to file and manage Federal Independent Dispute Resolutions (IDR) and State Arbitrations, analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), review medical documentation for validity and coding accuracy, and help physicians get paid what they deserve.

What You'll Do

  • Review and analyze medical claims subject to the No Surprises Act
  • Prepare and submit Federal IDR and State Arbitration cases
  • Communicate with carriers, arbitrators, and providers regarding case progress
  • Track and document case outcomes, settlement offers, and payment compliance
  • Research federal and state regulatory updates impacting out-of-network reimbursement
  • Identify trends and recommend strategies to maximize claim recovery

  • Prior paralegal, medical billing, or legal admin experience a plus
