Server Assistant

Our service team is the first line of communication with our guests; their communication style needs to be concise, clear, and courteous. They will constantly strive to provide exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are searching for team members that want to continue to expand their knowledge and are willingly share past experience with other staff members to build the strongest team possible.

Server Assistant / Food Runner Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Servers in providing warm and efficient service to all guests
• Service tables with enthusiasm and a genuine smile welcoming their presence
• Adhere to established service standards and protocols
• Deliver orders timely and correctly, and perform table maintenance in an efficient and gracious manner
• Check in after courses are dropped within an appropriate timeframe to ensure their satisfaction
• Assist servers in proper rotation and polishing of glassware, silverware, and other service items
• Follow proper hospitality standards when interacting with any guest
• Come to work prepared with appropriate tools, laundered and pressed uniform, correct shoes, and a good attitude

Required Experience:

• Knowledge of both classic and current food and beverage trends
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an upscale restaurant setting
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, move, carry 30 – 40 lb boxes / bins / trays

Working Conditions/Environment

• The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
• Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
• The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
