Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating patient care by coordinating treatment plans and ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of dental terminology, and experience in managing patient records within a medical or dental office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments while ensuring optimal use of provider time.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, including managed care plans.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of treatment plans and communicate them effectively to patients.
  • Utilize CDT coding for accurate billing and coding processes.
  • Provide support in the management of medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure all necessary information is available for patient care.
  • Address patient inquiries regarding treatment options, insurance coverage, and office policies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical or dental office is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of managed care processes and insurance verification procedures.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology CDT coding
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in maintaining confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
