About Us Sacred Healing Lights International (SacredHLI) is a faith-based nonprofit serving communities through two divisions: Walkaway Real Estate and SacredHLI Health. Our Health Division provides telehealth mental health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) recovery services to Medi-Cal eligible clients in Kern County and across California.
Role Overview:
We are seeking six (6) Clinical Associates to join our telehealth behavioral health program. This role is ideal for pre-licensed or unlicensed clinicians working toward LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or related licensure, and who are seeking clinical supervision and credentialing experience within a compliant, mission-driven setting.
As part of our launch phase, associates will receive structured onboarding, mentorship, and training through SacredHLI's credentialed systems to ensure eligibility for payer credentialing and EHR readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group telehealth sessions under supervision.
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with Medi-Cal and managed care standards.
- Participate in clinical supervision sessions and training with senior staff and ACDs.
- Support clients across mental health and substance-use recovery programs.
- Uphold HIPAA, documentation, and ethical practice standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree (or current enrollment in final year) in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
- California-based with intent to pursue LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW licensure.
- Strong communication and writing skills for telehealth documentation.
- Compassionate, reliable, and open to SacredHLI's spiritually grounded model of care.
Pre-Assignment Requirements:
All selected associates must complete:
- Reference and background check.
- Drug screening prior to onboarding.
- AZZLY Rize EHR training and internal credentialing setup.
- Verification of education and supervision eligibility.
- Participation in SacredHLI compliance orientation (HIPAA, ethics, confidentiality).
Compensation & Terms:
- $4,167/month (1099 contractor).
- Flexible telehealth hours with structured supervision.
- No billing responsibilities — all handled by SacredHLI.
