We're looking for a marketing coordinator to join the marketing and communications team of a 140-person CPA, technology, and business consulting firm.

The ideal candidate thrives on managing multiple projects with various deadlines and points of contact and can switch gears without batting an eye. The marketing coordinator is an integral part of the firm's growth, focusing on all things digital and content marketing in order to expand the firm's list of clients.

They have the ability to understand technical business topics and communicate about them in a way that the average business person can understand. The marketing coordinator is tech-savvy and comfortable dealing with senior management. They love taking ownership of projects and are resourceful, attentive to detail, and assertive. Reporting to the firm's marketing director, they are comfortable working with remote coworkers. Preference is given to candidates who are local to Baltimore. There may be an opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably with a professional services firm or in a B2B environment
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong writing, grammar, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand complex business topics and communicate about them in a way that the average business person would understand
  • Content creation
  • Website management
  • Event planning, both in person and virtual
  • Video production and editing
  • Email marketing
  • Social media content creation
  • CRM experience
  • Experience with ChatGPT or other LLMs to improve productivity
  • Basic graphic design skills (we mostly use Canva); while you don't need to be a designer, you do need to follow brand style guidelines and have an eye for good design
  • Experience with any of the following tools a big plus: Hubspot, ChatGPT, Copilot, Adobe Premier Pro, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Canva, Buzzsprout
  • Bonus if you have experience with podcasting
