Director of Technology

LHH is seeking a dynamic Director of Technology with extensive experience in React Native and iOS application development to oversee the delivery of our client's web and mobile applications while leading the company's greater technology goals. This candidate should be a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and excellent leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, domain experts, and product owners to implement and maintain applications.
  • Oversee the development and execution of IT support, systems management, website development and management, and future mobile applications.
  • Analyze all technical infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs. Then provide recommendations for improvement of all technical infrastructure.
  • Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external IT and technical vendors and service providers.
  • Provide technical leadership and documentation to developers and stakeholders.
  • Mentor employees regarding technical matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, MBA or master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in a technical leadership role required, 10+ years preferred.
  • Strong experience with React Native development.
  • Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks and languages is a plus.
  • Experience with the full mobile app lifecycle – from ideation to deployment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the latest technologies for IT systems and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company's goals.
