Facets Configuration and Cross-Functional Lead

We are seeking a Facets Configuration Specialist to drive the build-out and maintenance of our core healthcare administration system. This role requires a blend of technical configuration skill and strong communication, as you will be the key liaison between technical and business stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

Configuration & Execution (Approx. 60%):

Lead the design, setup, and maintenance of Facets configuration, focusing primarily on Medical Plan Benefit and Healthcare Claim functionality.

Cross-Functional Leadership (Approx. 40%):

Serve as the primary representative in cross-functional meetings, translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable configuration plans. This is a major skill set we are looking for—you must be able to lead and represent the configuration team effectively.

Testing & Validation:

Develop and execute test plans using Oracle SQL for data validation and Facets for end-to-end claims testing to ensure configuration accuracy.

Process Improvement:

Utilize our homegrown Informatica-based automation tool to streamline configuration processes.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Facets Expertise:

Proven experience with the Facets platform, specifically in Healthcare claim understanding and Benefit Configuration.

SQL/Database Proficiency:

Strong ability to write and execute SQL queries for data retrieval, validation, and analysis.

Leadership & Communication: Demonstrable skill in leading cross-functional meetings to capture and refine requirements from various business units.

Analytical Acumen: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex configuration and claims issues.

Operating System: Familiarity with the Windows environment.

Desirable Attributes

Experience: 5+ years of experience with the Facets platform, particularly in Medical Plan Benefit Configuration and Provider Network & Agreement Configuration.

Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid benefit configuration guidelines.

Soft Skills: A quick learner with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams effectively.

Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
