PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The market manager is responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns and programs that directly support the expansion and growth of the organization's products, services, and support for the field.
Newly assigned work projects will generally span one to two years. Some assignments could involve the regular management of existing campaigns and programs that extend over a longer period of time. All assignments will require general direction.
Essential Functions:
- Builds a high-level of expertise in all aspects of a designated market area, including customer needs, agent engagement, competitive landscape, and market share potential.
- Creates a comprehensive strategic marketing plan that aids the organization's KPIs.
- Secures annual budgets for an assigned market or program, allocates segments to individual projects, and forecasts and manages project expenses during the execution.
- Provides direction to the project team during the execution through the kickoff and regular status meetings with the creative team, technical resources, outside vendors, marketing operations, independent contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Reviews the results of programs/campaigns and creates project adjustments or new projects to enhance those results while staying within budget.
- Participates in regular presentations as well as written communications to socialize the status and results of new and existing campaigns and programs. Audiences could include internal stakeholders or the field.
- Develops the content for the field to instruct them on marketing systems, processes, developing their own marketing plans for execution, etc.
- Maintains regular project status and supporting documentation on Agent Central.
- Stays up to date on the company's legal and compliance policies and procedures to ensure projects and programs are executed accordingly.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key strategic vendors, internal partners, and industry leaders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Five or more years of experience.

- The position is physically comfortable; essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting and temperature; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc.
- A person in this position normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
- Additional Requirements:
- Occasional travel will be necessary, requiring occasional remote work.
Preferences:
- MBA or equivalent related experience.
- Experience with marketing resource management tools and managing project budgets.
