U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract obligations, along with the ability to successfully pass a federal background investigation.

Required Experience

  • 5 years' experience of developing IT presentation material for technical information (cybersecurity)
  • 5 years' experience identifying cybersecurity training requirements and delivering relevant training to nontechnical audiences
  • 5 years' experience in an office environment with technical IT personnel
  • 3 years' experience with IT customer support
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Forms

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging IT presentation materials that effectively communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Identify cybersecurity training needs and design relevant exercise content tailored to nontechnical personnel to promote awareness and preparedness.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate cyber exercises, simulations, and tabletop scenarios to evaluate organizational readiness and incident response capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical IT personnel in an office environment to ensure cyber exercises align with real-world infrastructure, threats, and operational goals.
  • Provide user-focused IT customer support, addressing technical issues and ensuring smooth participation during cybersecurity training events.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools—including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Forms—to create training content, exercise documentation, and evaluation reports.
  • Utilize SharePoint to efficiently manage, organize, and share documents, collaborate on team projects, and track tasks in a user-friendly environment.
  • Analyze results of cyber exercises and training sessions to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support the continuous development of cybersecurity programs.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and end users to ensure the clarity, effectiveness, and impact of cybersecurity training and exercises.

The salary range for this position is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. It has been benchmarked in relation to the scope of the role, market rate, and internal equity. The salary for this role is expected to be in the $75,000 - $90,000 range. Where a candidate falls within the band can be determined based on one or more of the following: skillset, experience level, achievements, education, geographic location, security clearance, involvement in corporate tasks, and other non-discriminatory factors. In addition to the base salary, this role will include benefits as described above. Valiant reserves the right to adjust the salary range, experience requirements, and position responsibilities at any time without prior notice.

Remote Work Policy
Remote work necessitates a high level of trust in our employees.
