Job Title: Anaplan Analyst– Oil & Gas Domain

Location: Houston, TX (Need Locals)

Experience Level: 8+ Years

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Developer with strong expertise in building, configuring, and maintaining Anaplan models, preferably within the Oil & Gas domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the latest version of Anaplan, possess deep knowledge of model building best practices, and demonstrate proven ability in configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable Anaplan solutions for financial planning, forecasting, and supply chain operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• 8–9 years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years of dedicated Anaplan development experience.


• Hands-on expertise in the latest Anaplan platform features, model building, and UX.


• Strong knowledge of Anaplan model building methodology (D.I.S.C.O).


• Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing Anaplan models for large data volumes.


• Proven experience working in the Oil & Gas domain, with exposure to upstream, midstream, or downstream business processes.


• Knowledge of integration frameworks (APIs, Anaplan Connect, Informatica, MuleSoft, or similar tools).


• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and master data alignment.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Anaplan Level 2 or Master Anaplanner certification.


• Experience with financial modeling, production planning, or supply chain planning in Oil & Gas.


• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, AWS).


• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics in Oil & Gas context.
