Our Post-Closing Department is looking to hire an ALTA Reconciliation Specialist.
ALL REMOTE POSITIONS REQUIRE A DOWNLOAD SPEED OF NO LESS THAN 100 MBPS.
Job Title: ALTA Reconciliation Specialist
Reports To: Post-Closing Acquisitions Manager / Director of Acquisitions
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Post Closing
Division: Retail / Wholesale
Salary Range: $55K to $65K per year
Summary:
Responsible for working with Title to obtain final ALTA/Disbursement statements and Final Documents company to balance final Closing Disclosures for Escrow State loans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tracks ALTA pipeline to clear out all aged and current loans where final Closing Disclosures need to be balanced per Escrow State Compliance Standards
- Create and manage final disclosure pipeline while completing reviews to validate escrow state loans disbursed as per disbursement date provided on Closing Disclosures.
- Follow up on any outstanding documents required to comply with dry state regulations including but not limited to checks for prepaid interest, recording fee reimbursements etc.
- Must be fully knowledgeable in TRID fee compliance standards and capable of assessing necessity of cures to borrower, when required.
- Must be able to multitask and track reporting daily while requesting and receiving required documentation to close out loans requiring post-funding balancing.
- Must be fully versed in the reading and comprehension of title final ALTA/disbursement statements
- Must be knowledgeable in Escrow state functions with full understanding of functionality of disbursement and how to correct Closing Disclosures

Education/Experience:
Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent. 5 years of post-closing or similar experience required. Must be fully knowledge of TRID fee compliance standards and functionality of Escrow State post-funding disbursement processes. Encompass experience preferred.
