As Principal Product Manager for Personalization Enablement, you will define and lead the strategy for a suite of foundational capabilities that power personalized, timely, and context-aware experiences across 's platform. These systems are critical to understanding our users' intent, surfacing relevant content, and delivering the right message through the right channel at the right time.
You will be responsible for building scalable systems that understand user preferences, extract intelligence from geographic and behavioral data, and orchestrate personalized experiences across touchpoints—including email, push, in-app, and on-site surfaces. Your work will play a vital role in improving user engagement, driving retention, and enabling product teams to move faster through reusable, intelligent services.
This is a highly strategic and cross-functional role, visible at the executive level, with the opportunity to transform how users interact with by infusing personalization, intelligence, and orchestration into every experience.
What You'll Do:
- Define and execute a visionary roadmap for User & Geo Intelligence, Property Intelligence and Orchestration Services—enabling contextual, lifecycle-aware messaging and personalized content delivery.
- Lead efforts to deeply understand our users by consolidating behavioral signals, inferred preferences, and geo-spatial data into actionable user intelligence models.
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to build and scale real-time, event-driven orchestration engines that power personalized journeys and messaging flows across platforms.
- Collaborate with product teams across the company to integrate user and geo intelligence into search, recommendations, marketing campaigns, and CRM workflows.
- Drive adoption of reusable personalization services and orchestration primitives that unlock scalable and consistent user experiences across product surfaces.
- Evangelize your roadmap and product vision clearly across the company, delivering executive-level updates and articulating measurable impact.
How We Work:
We balance creativity and innovation on a foundation of in-person collaboration. For most roles, our employees work three or more days in our Austin headquarters, where they have the opportunity to collaborate in-person, adding richness to our culture and strengthening our teams.
What You'll Bring:
- 12+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years owning backend platforms or infrastructure services related to personalization, messaging systems, orchestration, or user intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A strong strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to define platform roadmaps that scale across multiple product domains.
- Proven track record of driving impact through intelligent messaging platforms, real-time orchestration engines, or user modeling systems.
- Familiarity with key technologies and architectures such as Kafka, AWS event streaming, rule-based engines, geo-intelligence frameworks, and identity systems.
- A deep understanding of experimentation frameworks and how to measure impact through engagement, retention, and lifecycle conversion metrics.
- Strong data literacy; comfortable working with SQL, KPIs, dashboards, and partnering with data science on model iteration and success criteria.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive decisions and align technical execution with strategic business goals.
