Tax Manager – Atlanta, GA (Remote)

What You'll Do

As a Tax Manager, you'll be at the heart of client success and team leadership:

  • Lead client engagements as the primary point of contact, managing projects from planning to completion with precision and care.
  • Deliver strategic tax solutions by advising clients on implications, offering alternatives, and providing forward-thinking strategies that impact their businesses.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, accrual workpapers, and written tax advice, ensuring top-tier quality every time.
  • Monitor tax law developments and apply them to client situations, spotting issues before they become problems.
  • Mentor associates, seniors, and interns, teaching technical skills, instilling a commitment to service, and conducting impactful in-house training.
  • Identify potential high-risk issues, collaborate with partners and firm experts, and craft solutions that protect and elevate clients.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license required.
  • 5–12 years of public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in flow-through entities and 1040s preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software, plus knowledge of GAAP.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
