Title: Senior Incident Response Analyst
Status: Full-Time, Remote
Location: Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

Join a nationally recognized organization committed to securing critical infrastructure and improving health outcomes through technology. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S., with occasional on-call responsibilities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead incident response efforts across cloud and on-prem environments, with a focus on containment, eradication, and recovery
- Execute and refine enterprise-wide incident response plans and security procedures
- Identify and analyze attack patterns and implement scalable preventative measures
- Collaborate with security engineers, architects, and stakeholders to improve defense strategies
- Develop automated scripts and contingency responses to active threats
- Conduct forensic analysis using logs, traffic flows, and other sources
- Report, triage, and escalate incidents based on threat severity
- Integrate third-party threat monitoring services into internal systems
- Regularly review security configurations and ensure compliance
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on incident response
- Experience in both on-premise and cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure)
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and incident response in AWS and Azure
- Familiarity with endpoint protection platforms like CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender
- Knowledge of intrusion tactics, indicators of compromise (IOC), and threat actor behaviors
- Experience with Wiz & Wiz Defend preferred
- Understanding of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Certifications (Preferred):
- GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, or similar cybersecurity certifications.
