What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead incident response efforts across cloud and on-prem environments, with a focus on containment, eradication, and recovery
  • Execute and refine enterprise-wide incident response plans and security procedures
  • Identify and analyze attack patterns and implement scalable preventative measures
  • Collaborate with security engineers, architects, and stakeholders to improve defense strategies
  • Develop automated scripts and contingency responses to active threats
  • Conduct forensic analysis using logs, traffic flows, and other sources
  • Report, triage, and escalate incidents based on threat severity
  • Integrate third-party threat monitoring services into internal systems
  • Regularly review security configurations and ensure compliance

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on incident response
  • Experience in both on-premise and cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure)

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and incident response in AWS and Azure
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection platforms like CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender
  • Knowledge of intrusion tactics, indicators of compromise (IOC), and threat actor behaviors
  • Experience with Wiz & Wiz Defend preferred
  • Understanding of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional teams

Certifications (Preferred):

  • GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, or similar cybersecurity certifications.
