Summary:
Reporting to the Director, HR Compliance and Shared Services, the HR Generalist (HRG) advances the mission, values, and strategic goals of Children's Health by delivering high-quality, enterprise-wide HR support with a focus on service excellence and operational consistency. The HRG operates within a centralized HR Shared Services delivery model, providing specialized HR support in the areas of Absence Management, Employee Relations, and HR Consulting. The HRG serves as a trusted advisor to managers, employees, HR partners, and other COE's, while providing guidance and support on moderately complex employee lifecycle activities and people issues, ensuring compliance with policies, driving operational efficiencies, and supporting employee engagement efforts.

Responsibilities:
* System Alignment: Serve as the first point of contact for moderately complex HR-related inquiries from employees and leaders across the enterprise. Respond to HR policy, benefit, and leave of absence questions, escalating to specialists as needed.
* Workforce Planning: Support the administration of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, status changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
* Talent Acquisition and Workforce Strategies: Partner with payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition teams to ensure seamless employee experiences.
* Talent Development and Performance Management: Provide administrative support for performance management, employee recognition, and engagement programs.
* Employee Relations/Compliance: Maintain employee records in the HRIS system ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulations. Support compliance activities including audits, training, and documentation updates. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee data.
* People Technology and Analytics: Assist in generating HR reports and dashboards; analyze data trends to support decision-making; update HRIS system with employment actions. Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.

 How You'll Be Successful:

WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 5 years HR Generalist, Coordinator, or Shared Services experience required. 
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. 
* Ability to multi-task required. 

EDUCATION
* Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* HR Professional Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
