Job Overview
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is crucial in creating a positive experience for all visitors, handling inquiries, and managing reservations efficiently. You will work closely with various departments to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain the high standards of our establishment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages as needed.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve guest issues swiftly.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in front desk operations with prior hotel experience highly desirable.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is beneficial.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
