Job Summary

Leads cross-functional development teams to define, plan, and execute complex software and cloud architecture programs from concept through production deployment.

Owns program schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple concurrent software initiatives.

Interfaces with internal stakeholders (Product Management, Engineering, QA, DevOps) and external partners to ensure technical alignment and successful delivery of scalable solutions.

Partners closely with software engineering teams to plan sprint deliverables, track velocity, manage dependencies, and proactively resolve blockers to ensure timely delivery of robust, high-quality applications and cloud services.

Drives adoption of Agile and Program Management best practices, enabling continuous improvement in execution and delivery. Fosters a culture of transparency, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration across software and cloud development teams.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Program Management - Leads multiple high-impact software and cloud programs with strategic importance. Drives adoption of PMO and Agile best practices to support scalable growth and technical excellence across the organization.

Program Execution - Executes PMO strategy across software development and cloud architecture initiatives. Manages cross-functional resources, resolves technical and organizational blockers, influences stakeholder decisions, and communicates program status and outcomes with clarity and precision.

Team Management - Oversee program team execution, set schedules, assign tasks, coach and motivate team members.

Education (minimum education required)

Bachelor of Science

Preferred Education (i.e. type of degree)

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional software and cloud development teams.

Proficiency in Agile and Program Management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.

Proven ability to manage multiple complex software and cloud programs concurrently, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and technical milestones.

Hands-on experience coordinating across hardware, software, and cloud architecture teams, with a strong understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.

Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on identifying technical risks early and driving resolution through collaboration and data-driven analysis.

The range for this position is $120,000 to $210,000. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant's experience and geographic location.
