Apex Systems is currently hiring for Business Analyst/ Data Analyst for a large financial client in Charlotte, NC.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical
Business Analyst / Data Analyst hybrid
to support enterprise-level reporting and data initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of business acumen and technical expertise, with a focus on financial reporting, SQL-based data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of navigating complex data environments to deliver actionable insights.

Requirements

• 60% Business Analysis / 40% Data Analysis skill blend
• 7+ years of professional experience
• Financial industry experience
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, functions)
• Proficiency in SQL (Transact-SQL, SSMS, TOAD, or VS Code)
• Experience with financial reporting and data interpretation
• Strong understanding of financial/accounting principles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with business users
• Preferred qualifications: Exposure to machine learning or AI tools

Location: Charlotte, NC

Onsite expectation: 3 days hybrid

Pay range: $60-$65/hour on W2
