About The Role
As an Lead – Snowflake & Data Security, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure data solutions that support business objectives. You will be a key contributor to our data architecture strategy, ensuring robust security protocols and scalable systems. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects while maintaining a balanced work-life integration.

In This Role, You Will

• Design and implement robust data architectures using Snowflake to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Develop and enforce database security protocols to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data security measures into existing systems and processes.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on best practices for data security.
• Oversee the deployment of data security solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Analyze and resolve complex data security issues in a timely manner to minimize risk.
• Lead initiatives to enhance data security awareness and training across the organization.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data security measures.
• Document and maintain data security policies, procedures, and guidelines for reference and compliance.
• Monitor and report on data security incidents and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data security strategies with business objectives and goals.
• Ensure that all data security solutions are scalable and adaptable to future business needs.

Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC. • Experience leading data security awareness and training initiatives.

Salary And Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
