Role Overview

The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse or distribution center.

In this role, you will:

Load and unload product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas within the warehouseRead production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to figure out items to be moved, gathered, or distributed within the warehouse or distribution centerSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product codeConvey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas in the warehouseUse equipment such as an RF Gun to find and pick products for orderUtilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to process orders (outbound/inbound), restock facility, follow inventory guidelines, and other tasks as necessary to the successful operation of the distribution centerFill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items accurately and timelyAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping departmentMark materials with identifying informationOpen bales, crates, and other containersRecord amounts of materials or items received or distributedWeigh or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standardsArrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workersInspect products for defects prior to packing for shippingUnload trucks and places materials in proper location in the warehouseEnter and maintains inventory records in the computerPrepare parcels for mailingClean warehouse area and performs routine housekeepingOther duties as required and assigned

High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalencyMinimum 1 to 3 months of related experienceAbility to work overtime as neededAbility to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distanceAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructionsAbility to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variablesAbility to multitaskGeneral computer knowledge
