Job description

Imperial Fence Supply is a fast growing, local chain link fence and gate manufacturer located in East Point, GA. We are currently looking to hire a Flatbed Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate.

Main Duties:

  • Safely transport fence materials to jobsites
  • Maintain proper DOT safety standards on 26' flatbed truck
  • Put chain link material onto gates with the use of small tools
  • Cutting metal pipe
  • Meet deadlines for custom/stock gate production
  • Accurately pull all material for each order
  • Palletize rolls of chain link
  • Shrink wrap pallets of materials

Must be able to drive 26' Flat Bed Truck and have their DOT Medical Card. Special license not required but must have clean driving record for insurance purposes.

**This is a not a no touch freight position**

Requirements:

For all Deliveries

  • Clean driving record required, or with minor incidents.
  • Have the ability to use a personal cell phone with GPS capability.
  • Must be able to provide great customer experience.
  • Communicate delivery time affectively.
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Ability to manage one's time
  • Ability to produce gates in a timely manner in accordance with production schedule
  • Experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and strong attention to detail
  • Physical dexterity (must be able to lift 50 lbs.)
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Forklift Experience

The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM when driving and 7:30 AM -4:00 PM when not driving. If interested, apply online. No phone calls, please.
