We are seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer who is eager to learn and grow in a cloud-focused environment. In this early-career role, you'll support the development and automation of cloud software using multi-cloud offerings and open-source tools. You'll assist in building and maintaining our CI/CD pipeline, monitoring, and analytics infrastructure, while collaborating with experienced team members and stakeholders across the enterprise. Success in this role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to develop new technical skills. You'll be part of a supportive, fast-paced team that values learning and continuous improvement.

A Day In the Life Typically looks like:

• Assist in identifying and suggesting process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Help monitor performance metrics and report opportunities for improvement to senior team members.
• Participate in on-call rotation as appropriate for your experience level and support team KPI goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and learning from data analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams and business units to help resolve system-related issues.
• Assist in developing automation solutions that are reusable and add value, with mentorship from experienced engineers.
• Document processes, solutions, and learnings to support team knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Basic Qualifications:

• Basic scripting skills in Python (required).
• Basic understanding of Linux and Windows system administration.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (through coursework, projects, or internships).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) from academic or personal projects.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Interest in or experience with containerization and clustering technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Awareness of monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, SumoLogic).
• Experience working on cloud-based projects or internships
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline.
• Experience with automation or scripting beyond coursework (personal projects, hackathons, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic system or application issues.
• Exposure to Agile or similar development methodologies.
• Interest in pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
