The Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking dynamic and service-oriented individuals for the position of Lounge Attendant to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. The Le Meridien Sheraton Hotel, located in Uptown Charlotte, is a 690-room dual complex with 65,000 sq. ft of meeting and conference space.

As a Lounge Attendant, you will approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner. The primary role of this person will be to ensure the Club Lounge is a warm and inviting area for guests.

Schedule is 2:30pm to 10pm and pay is $17/ hour

Responsibilities to include:

· Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed.

· Present items in the Club Lounge to members.

· Memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients.

· Use proper verbiage and etiquette while interacting with members.

· Fully stock Club Lounge with amenities i.e. drinks, snacks, food etc.

· Relay order to kitchen and service bar utilizing point of sale system

· Observe members to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed for members.

· Total bill and accept payment or refer members to cashier.

· Ladle soup, portion pies and desserts, and brew coffee.

· Clear and reset counters or table at conclusion of each course.

· Assist in cleaning and wiping down of service areas and prep areas.

· Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.

· Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.

· Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.

  • Ability to problem solve when situations arise.
  • Great customer service/ guest service skills
  • AM and PM availability
  • Ability to track inventory, stock goods and keep a clean and organized wort area.
