Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Platform Architect in Charlotte, NC to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level data platforms. This role will focus on building cloud-based systems that enable analytics, reporting, and operational workflows. The position is open for full-time or part-time candidates and offers hybrid work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based data platforms to support analytics, reporting, and business operations.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to consolidate and process data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure compliance with data quality, governance, and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into effective and scalable data solutions.
  • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  • Explore emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance data platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or cloud platform development.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $155,000 – $165,000 annually
  • Annual Bonus: Typically 10–20% of base salary
