About the Role

Join the Gavin Foundation, a leading nonprofit committed to empowering individuals in recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to become a valued member of our multidisciplinary treatment team.

In this hybrid, part-time position, you'll provide evidence-based psychiatric care, guide patients through recovery, and collaborate with a team of dedicated clinicians who share your commitment to holistic, person-centered treatment.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications for psychiatric and addictionrelated conditions.
  • Educate and empower patients on medication, recovery strategies, and wellness practices.
  • Order and interpret lab tests as clinically indicated.
  • Facilitate quarterly BSAS healthfocused groups for SOAP clients.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and healthcare partners to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in case reviews, quality improvement, and peer review processes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Stay current on prior authorization processes and specialty medication protocols.
  • Contribute to a supportive, growthoriented team culture that values innovation and compassion.
What You Bring
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Massachusetts PMHNPBC license, DEA registration, and CPR certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in psychiatric or substance use disorder treatment (rehab, detox, or related setting preferred).
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2) and ethical care standards.
  • Collaborative spirit and a passion for serving underserved and recoveryfocused populations.
  • Valid MA driver's license; must pass CORI and drug screening.
