Are you passionate about international logistics and trade compliance? Do you excel in coordinating complex export documentation? Interra International is seeking a detail-oriented Global Compliance Coordinator to join our team and ensure the smooth and accurate flow of goods across borders.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee Export Cargo Documentation: Coordinate and resolve export documentation issues to ensure the prompt and accurate release of cargo.
  • Collaborate Globally: Work closely with suppliers, customers, government agencies, foreign locations, and global ocean freight providers.
  • Ensure Compliance: Manage the proper manifestation of all cargo to U.S. Customs using the Automated Export System (AES).
  • Document Accuracy: Submit and review negotiable bills of lading, health certifications, and other required documents to facilitate seamless customs clearance.
  • Facilitate International Trade: Create and verify commercial documents to ensure shipments are cleared smoothly at their destinations.

  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to handling export documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work with diverse teams and communicate effectively with global partners.
  • Problem Solver: Proactive in resolving documentation issues and navigating complex regulatory environments.
  • Knowledgeable in Trade Regulations: Familiarity with international shipping documentation, U.S. Customs regulations, and AES is a plus.
  • Language Requirement: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required.
