Houston, Texas, United States Allia Health Group Full time

Company Overview

At Allia Health Group, the umbrella organization for Southend Pharmacy, Brello Health, and Woven, we don't just follow industry trends—we redefine them. Our mission is to commoditize anti-aging solutions, making them affordable and accessible to the average consumer—not just the wealthy. By offering customized and cost-effective wellness products that follow cost-containment models, we aim to improve people's quality of life and meet them wherever they are on their health journey.

Job Summary

Allia Health Group is seeking a visionary Director of Communications to lead our internal and external communication strategy in a hybrid role. As the primary architect of how we tell our story, you will translate content into impactful, compliant messaging for diverse internal and external audiences across our digital marketing companies in the telehealth space and compounding divisions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define the vision and roadmap for Allia Health Group's communications function, aligning with corporate goals, regulatory obligations, and market dynamics.
  • Drive long-term communication strategies across audiences and platforms, anticipating trends in healthcare, pharmacy, and AI/tech regulation.
  • Serve as senior communications counsel to executive leadership on business transformation, innovation, and reputation management.

AI & Data-Driven Innovation

  • Champion AI and analytics tools to enhance communication effectiveness—message testing, personalization, and sentiment analysis.
  • Embed data feedback loops and performance dashboards to continuously optimize content and tone.

Messaging & Brand Stewardship

  • Own and evolve Allia Health Group's messaging frameworks for compounding, clinical, and specialized services.
  • Build and uphold a distinctive brand voice and storytelling framework that blends authenticity with expert credibility.
  • Oversee content governance policies to ensure compliance with FDA and HIPAA standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

  • Partner with marketing, clinical, regulatory, and executive teams to deliver unified, multi-channel communications.
  • Coach leadership on high-impact communication delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Content & Channel Portfolio Oversight

  • Oversee diverse content types: digital media, social channels, internal communications, and press relations.
  • Safeguard message quality, factual precision, and audience resonance across all channels.

Reputation, Crisis & Regulatory Management

  • Develop and execute crisis communication plans.
  • Monitor external media, policy, and regulatory environments for emerging risks and narratives.
  • Ensure communications adhere to FDA, HIPAA, and ethical standards—especially when leveraging AI tools.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage budgets, vendors, and technology tools for optimal performance and ROI.
  • Establish standardized processes, dashboards, and KPIs to measure communication impact and efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in communications, PR, or similar roles, including senior leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or similarly regulated industries.
  • Thorough knowledge of key healthcare regulations, including FDA marketing rules, and HIPAA.
  • Proven excellence in writing, editing, and translating complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Demonstrated success using data, analytics, or AI tools in communications.

Preferred

  • Experience leading multi-channel communication programs (digital, media, internal, executive).
  • Experience building or scaling communication teams.
  • Familiarity with AI and audience/sentiment analytics tools.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Communications, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or computer.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across in-person and virtual settings.
  • Ability to focus in a dynamic office environment and perform repetitive computer-based tasks.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and paid time off package.
  • Hybrid role.
