Position Description

Title: Partnership Manager

Reports to: Executive Director

Status: Full Time, Exempt

Description: Under the direction of the Director of Program Operations, the Partnership Manager is responsible for increasing coordination with community-based and other citywide victim service providers and expanding service options through partnership development and implementation of protocols for communication, coordination, collaboration, cross-training and interagency referrals. The Partnership Manager will build new and strengthen existing partnerships with community-based victim service, health, and human service providers, and participate in key, relevant citywide, regional, and community-based networks or coalitions. Additionally, this role will serve 20% of time building funding relationships and assisting in all aspects of fundraising efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the development, implementation, and ongoing coordination of strategic partnerships, including establishing MOUs with key partners
  • Hosts and attends quarterly partner meetings

  • Works across Chicago Survivors service teams to coordinate with partners.

  • Collects data on project activities and performance measures via ECM and establishes a database of partners and funders

  • Participates in local networks and coalitions along with other Chicago Survivors staff
  • Coordinates cross-trainings with partner organizations by identifying content, speakers, and securing space
  • Creates/expands service referral networks to increase service options for survivor family members.
  • Participates in City Violence Prevention and Victim Services meetings and initiatives
  • Works with partners and CS staff to identify priority needs of survivor families to guide future partnership development

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of victim services, violence prevention, youth development, and restorative justice
  • Experience building relationships with external partners
  • 2-3 years' experience coordinating inter-agency activities
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Database Management required
  • Self-starter, excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills to plan, implement and problem-solve
  • Knowledge of the Chicagoland area
  • Must have a car and have the ability to travel
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Bachelors degree or related experience
