Sales Manager-East Coast Biomass Cogen, Wood Processing

Sales Manager-Eastern Region (east of Texas) focusing on the Biomass Power Generation, Wood Processing and Pulp & Paper industries.
Must reside in the Eastern Half of the United States Preferably the Southeast
Fully remote, Manufacturing Representative position: We are looking for a hard-charging, mechanically inclined hunter who enjoys industrial manufacturing operations and who doesn't mind getting a bit dirty
The Sales Manager-Eastern is primarily responsible for driving sales growth and growing customer relationships within the assigned vertical industries throughout the eastern half of the United States. This is a manufacturer's representative position promoting our line of application-specific, Heavy-Duty Rotary Airlocks and Screw Conveyors within the most challenging bulk material handling applications. Precision Machine & Manufacturing is the THE preferred choice when it comes to replacing cheap, underperforming "commodity" airlocks and screw conveyors.
Experience in the following industries is HIGHLY recommended: Biomass Power Generation and/or processing including pellet production, Pulp & Paper manufacturing, and Wood processing.
SKILLS: Must be a master communicator and capable of quickly and effectively developing solid working business relationships with maintenance personnel and operations managers. A great communicator and problems solver who is organized and consistently deploying a sense of urgency. Able to read people, evaluate a situation and intuitively know how to guide a customer towards the appropriate solution. Must love to WIN and be willing to do what it takes to achieve the goal. Be relentless with customer follow ups, while playing the "long game." Must be a self-motivated, hard-working, entrepreneurial minded "Hard-Charging" multi-tasker, with a positive "Take no prisoners" attitude
KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of bulk material handling systems operating within industrial manufacturing plants, power generation and/or mill processing environments is a must Must be proficient with basic math, including calculations using fractions, percent, and/or ratios. Able to read a tape measure and understand complex, multi-step written and oral instructions. Able to navigate plant layouts and engineering drawings. Thorough knowledge of bulk material handling equipment, including rotary airlocks and screw conveyors within industrial manufacturing operations.
ABILITY: Must be personable and able to quickly generate genuine relationships Must have good mechanical knowledge, including a solid understanding of industrial manufacturing operations and the operational systems within them. Must be able to travel at least 50% of any given month within the assigned geographical region. Enjoy creating solutions that drives operational efficiency and decrease downtime. Be able to read and comprehend instructions, repair manuals, blueprints, schematics, drawings, and other written materials. Is proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel and has functional knowledge of sales CRM systems. Be well-organized, have excellent written grammar skills and be a solid team player.
Experience
·REQUIRED: Previous experience within Biomass Power Generation/Processing, Wood Processing, Pulp & Paper Manufacturing, or similar industries, preferably as a sales person but operating with a maintenance and/or operations role will be considered.
·REQUIRED: Must be geographically located in the eastern half of the United States.
·REQUIRED: Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office and general computer software usage.
·REQUIRED: Have excellent relationship building skills while being a superior communicator.
·REQUIRED: Strong organizational and documentational skills.
·REQUIRED: Mechanically inclined combined with a strong technical acumen.
·Preferred: 5+ years of sales experience, supplemented by any combination of education and on-the-job training in other related fields.
· Preferred: 5+ years experience within industrial manufacturing operations, with an emphasis in bulk material handling.
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent, preferably supplemented with formal training in related fields.
2-4 years of formal training/education or any combination of education and work to meet this requirement.
Pay:
Total first year compensation with commission $90K-$110K
- Base Salary: $75K-$85K base salary DOE
- Commission Estimate: $15K-$25K
