BounceBack Homes seeks a motivated paralegal to join our team Working from home 100% of the time, this team member will be the point person for the department, overseeing it and mentoring another paralegal on the team. This person will also provide leadership to the Founder/CEO and own the real estate sales process.

Duties:

  • Oversee a legal assistant, and provide leadership, training and mentoring
  • Conduct research on state-specific real estate closing requirements and implement each state's regulations with our process
  • Upload and maintain templates of legal documents in online platform,
  • Assist attorneys in preparing BBH's proprietary contractual real estate legal documents
  • Send digital document packages through platform at closing
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents including digital filing
  • Own the accounting processes during the real estate closing periods, maintaining a templated ledger of incurring expenses and detailing the wires needed at closing to title.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to support clients and ensure they provide the documentation needed to keep the process moving.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and managing correspondence between attorneys, BounceBack, and the client.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience as a RESIDENTIAL real estate paralegal
  • Desire and ability to "lead the charge" in managing each transaction, ensuring that it is moving on track and smoothly
  • Strategic mindset and quick, efficient problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience as a residential real estate paralegal or legal assistant
  • Strong knowledge of real estate legal terminology and procedures
  • Proficient in real estate legal research and drafting real estate legal documents
  • Strong understanding of HUD/ALTA documents, title commitments, and lien searches
  • Advanced proficient in Proof software (DocuSign or any related digital signing platform)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work product
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

This is a part-time, 1099 contract position, roughly 10 hours a week, paying $30/hour

Must be available during regular business hours (8AM-6PM) and must have real estate experience.
