Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for GCP architecture, guiding both internal teams and external partners.
  • Support pre-sales activities (50%), advising customers on cloud adoption, solution design, and architectural best practices.
  • Participate in delivery activities (50%), ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to established design principles.
  • Collaborate closely with API specialists, engineers, and other cloud teams to align solutions.
  • Provide expert-level consultation on GCP architecture, networking, IAM, storage, compute, and cost optimization.
  • Advise partners and customers on cloud governance, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Work cross-functionally with partner SMEs and our engineers to ensure technical readiness and smooth delivery execution.
  • Remain available for proactive support and internal consultation to mitigate risk and maintain operational readiness.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with 3+ years focused on GCP.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of GCP core services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Experience supporting both pre-sales and post-sales (delivery) functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to advise senior stakeholders and executive-level audiences.
  • Hands-on technical proficiency with cloud architecture tools and methods.
  • Certifications preferred: Google Professional Cloud Architect or similar.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 3–6 months with potential for renewal or FTE conversion.
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite or remote (U.S.-based candidates preferred).
  • Schedule: Standard business hours; flexibility for partner and customer meetings as needed.
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
