An established privately held real estate investment firm headquartered in Atlanta is seeking an experienced
Director of Acquisitions
to lead and expand its multifamily investment platform across the Southeast. The firm is well-capitalized and actively growing, with a proven track record in acquiring, repositioning, and managing high-quality multifamily assets.

Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years of experience in
    multifamily acquisitions,
    investments, or capital markets.
  • Proven track record in sourcing and closing multifamily transactions.
  • Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills (Excel/Argus proficiency preferred).
  • Deep understanding of multifamily market dynamics in the Southeast.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or MSRE preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and underwrite multifamily acquisition opportunities across target markets in the Southeastern U.S.
  • Lead financial analysis, market research, and due diligence for potential investments.
  • Negotiate deal terms, structure joint ventures, and coordinate with legal and finance teams through closing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, lenders, and institutional partners.
  • Collaborate closely with asset management, development, and executive teams to execute the firm's strategic investment objectives.
