About the Role:

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial records. This position is responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting audit processes. The Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial reporting that informs strategic decision-making. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting efficiency.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing historical financial data and analysis.
  • Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
