Job Summary:

Innerlight Community Advocates is seeking a compassionate and skilled Houston Area Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental delays. Our team is passionate, collaborative, and focused on fostering positive outcomes for our clients and families. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) would be responsible for providing hands-on supervision and support to our growing group of RBTs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing behavioral assessments.
  • Supervise and mentor RBTs through direct observation, training, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director to develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.

Provide case management services including resource coordination, referrals for housing, employment, and other social services.

  • Provide parent training and maintain open communication with families.
  • Monitor and analyze client data to ensure progress and adjust programming as needed.
  • clients based on individualized treatment plans, ensuring the effective delivery of services across both languages.
  • Deliver skills training focused on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and life skills to support clients' long-term recovery.
  • Assist Clinical Director in establishing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), focusing on teaching new skills, reducing maladaptive behaviors, and promoting positive behavior changes.
  • Collaborate with other providers including therapists, psychiatrists, and other case managers to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of therapy sessions, client progress, and incidents to ensure proper documentation.
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and update client care plans.
  • Engage with clients in community-based settings, empowering them to access the resources and skills needed for success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid license as a Behavior Analyst in the state of Texas.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
  • Active BCBA certification in good standing in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising RBTs.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices for treating mental health disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with diverse client populations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community-based visits.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Medicaid populations or underserved communities.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques, excellent communication abilities, and capacity to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience working with wraparound care and collaborating with other service providers to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Experience supervising RBTs.
