Fremont, California, United States RG Talent Inc Full time $120,000 - $200,000 per year

Salesforce Service Cloud Solution Architect (Contract)

Engagement Type: Contract (Full-time Allocation)

Start Date: Immediate

Work Hours: Must have partial overlap with US Eastern Time Zone (UK-shift alignment)

About the Role

We're seeking a Salesforce Service Cloud Solution Architect with a strong technical foundation and a consultative, business-oriented mindset.

This is a hands-on architecture role ideal for someone who has progressed from a Salesforce Developer or Technical Lead into Solution Architecture — someone who can bridge strategy, design, and execution. You'll lead multiple Service Cloud initiatives, translating business requirements into clear, scalable Salesforce solutions while guiding cross-functional teams toward successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design, documentation, and delivery for Salesforce Service Cloud projects.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand challenges, capture requirements, and design

effective solutions.

• Produce detailed solution documentation, process flows, and design artifacts to support build and

governance.

• Provide technical oversight and ensure development work aligns with approved solution designs.

• Drive integration discussions and define data exchange flows between Salesforce and external systems.

• Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical teams, helping define best practices and scalable design patterns.

• Operate independently, taking ownership of assigned workstreams and deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3–4 years in Solution or Technical Architecture roles.

• Proven track record as a Salesforce Developer or Technical Lead who advanced into architecture.

• Deep hands-on understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud, including Case Management, Omni-Channel, and Knowledge.

• Working knowledge of data integration, API exchanges, and data transformation concepts.

• Experience translating business requirements into scalable, well-documented technical designs.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills — comfortable leading business-facing

conversations.

• Familiarity with CPQ and Experience Cloud (Portals) is beneficial but not required.

• Salesforce certifications such as Service Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, or System Architect

preferred.

Soft Skills

• Self-sufficient and proactive — capable of managing priorities and deliverables independently.

• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to think from the user's perspective and translate business needs into elegant technical solutions.

• Comfortable working in distributed teams and aligning across time zones.

Engagement Details

• Contract engagement (full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday)

• Partial US Eastern Time overlap required (UK-shift working pattern or later).

• Immediate start, with high likelihood of extension for strong performers.

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Salesforce professional who enjoys autonomy and variety.

You'll work on multiple initiatives, own design from discovery through documentation, and collaborate directly with business stakeholders to shape solutions that matter. It's ideal for someone who's equally comfortable with handson technical work and strategic architectural design.
