the City of Maple Heights is hiring Laborers in the Service Department

Preferred experience and skills include: Operate dump trucks, snow plows, front-end loaders, chainsaws, jackhammers and related equipment; Cutting grass, filling chuck holes, loading and unloading asphalt, gravel, dirt, cold patch streets, carry or lift lumber and other related duties.

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, prepare reports, perform heavy manual work for extended periods under varying climatic conditions seasonally; Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to one hundred pounds.

Must be available for emergency (call in) work and overtime.

Valid CDL driver's license starting rate is $24.85/hour. Applicants must be able to obtain CDL. Training provided.

Candidates must successfully complete a DOT physical, background check, and drug screen prior to hire.
