Overview

C.C.P. Platform Inc. (CPI) is seeking a proactive, energetic, and results-oriented Field Application Engineer (FAE) – Semiconductor Testing Interface – to join our talented and growing team. This individual will play a key role in providing technical support and solutions to our clients, ensuring the successful implementation of our products in various applications.

The ideal candidate is both a motivator and a problem solver, leveraging their technical expertise in the semiconductor industry to address design challenges, communicate deliverables, and present the technical advantages of C.C.P.'s products to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers' local engineering teams.
  • Coordinate deliverables related to customer projects, including new test socket design, test probes and socket modifications, DFM, simulations, DOEs, and other development efforts.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customers' products and future roadmaps.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to ensure customer needs are met and serve as a communication bridge between both sides.
  • Support sales with technical presentations and product training at customer sites.
  • Assist customers with hardware troubleshooting, providing clear root cause and failure analysis reports.
  • Highly familiar with semiconductor test environments and interface requirements.
  • Participate in the design and testing of FPGA, SoC, and surface mount technology applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as an FAE or related engineering role, ideally with semiconductor test fixture design experience.
  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively present technical materials to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese or Spanish preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical experience related to PCB design is a plus
