Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Shifts are both for mid and evening. About 20 to 24 hours per week. Weekends and Holidays will be required.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Operate multi-line phone systems to answer calls, direct inquiries, and provide information about the hotel and local attractions.
  • Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
  • Provide information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality management.
  • Experience in hotel management or resort environments is preferred.
  • Proficient in phone etiquette and capable of managing multi-line phone systems.
  • Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services is an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
