Tolteca Foodservice — a leading food distributor serving restaurants across the Southeast — is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our delivery operations, fleet, and driver team. This role ensures efficient, safe, and timely transportation of products while upholding our commitment to exceptional customer service and food safety standards.

What You'll Do

  • Hire, lead and supervise drivers, dispatchers, and logistics staff.
  • Plan and optimize daily delivery routes for on-time, cost-effective service.
  • Manage fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and DOT compliance.
  • Monitor key logistic KPIs such as cost per route, delivery accuracy, and on-time rate.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse and Sales teams to align logistics with customer needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with DOT, OSHA, and FSMA regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or distribution management (foodservice preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet operations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with logistics or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Produmex, or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.

Schedule & Availability:

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role. The position may require evening or weekend availability to handle urgent logistics or driver-related matters.
